Dangerous Spirits Now Available

Dangerous Spirits

Woohoo, it’s release day! I’m very excited to share this book with you guys! Right now it’s available in eBook and in print at Createspace, with Amazon coming as soon as it makes its way through their system. 🙂

After the events of Reyhome Castle, Henry Strauss expected the Psychical Society to embrace his application of science to the study of hauntings. Instead, the society humiliates and blacklists him. His confidence shaken, he can’t bring himself to admit the truth to his lover, the handsome medium Vincent Night.

Vincent’s new life in Baltimore with Henry is disrupted when a friend from the past asks for help with a haunting. In the remote town of Devil’s Walk, old ties and new lies threaten to tear the lovers apart, if a fiery spirit bent on vengeance doesn’t put an end to them first.

I finished it yesterday and like every other book I’ve read by you, it made me smile and cry and wanting more after the end.

I won’t spoiler it for everyone else, so I’ll just say fantastic book. Loved every bit. Looking forward to more adventures with Vincent, Henry, and the others.

I do have a quick question: what year does this series take place? I can’t remember if it was mentioned in the first book, and honestly, I’m too lazy to look. Haha. Figured I’d go straight to the source instead. I’m just curious if this series take place in the same time frame as the Whyborne & Griffin series.

I’m so glad you enjoyed! It takes place a bit earlier than W&G (and in a different universe). The first two Spirits books are set in 1888, and Widdershins was in late 1897. 🙂

I love books where the characters are real enough to make me facepalm when they’re being oblivious or dense. Believe it or not its a compliment that I did it ALOT in this book. You’re one of my top three fantasy writers of all time with Jim Butcher and Anne McCaffrey. Period. Also, just curious, any chance of Whyborne, Griffin and Christine ever running into Vincent, Henry and Lizzie??? 😉 just curious
