Friday Link Roundup

I don’t usually put “how to write” links in my roundup, but I didn’t want to pass along Rachel Aaron’s blog about how she manages to routinely write 10,000 words a day. I’m big on planning and metrics, so I’m excited about implementing her tips and seeing how they impact my writing.

Here’s a great blog by Robin Dempsey, arguing that women are less interested in the hero’s journey than the antagonist’s tale. I found the points she made fascinating, and certainly explain the huge popularity of antagonists like Loki.

And, last but not least, check out the incredible art of David Kawena. You’ve never seen Disney princes like this before! May be NSFW if your boss is uptight, or your family thinks looking at half-naked cartoon guys is weird.

  1. Thanks for the links… anything to boost productivity is something I need to focus on for now. Summertime with the kids is a huge time sucker.
